Mechanical Design Engineer

Cubic Machinery is a machine tool builder / robotics integrator based in Chino,CA.

We design custom machinery, factory automation equipment, robotic cells for customers in aerospace, automotive, and other sectors.

We have many projects in the pipeline. We are hiring mechanical design engineers.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing complete factory automation equipment, motion controlled machine tools or production lines.

Capable of specifying off-the-shelf components and designing components that need to be machined in-house to be assembled into an integrated system

Strong background with pneumatic circuits and specifying pneumatic actuators

Can collaborate with electrical control engineers and has basic knowledge of PLC and motion control

Deliver projects on time and on budget

Should be capable of modeling, design validation, design for manufacturing, project management

Experience with parts feeding systems a plus.

Software used: Solidworks, Fusion 360, Excel
