What are we looking for in our Mechanical Design Engineer?
Russell Tobin is excited to collaborate with a leading engineering design consultancy in the vicinity of Roseville/Little Canada to expand their design division. We are offering a contract-to-hire position, with compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour.

Russell Tobin is excited to collaborate with a leading engineering design consultancy in the vicinity of Roseville/Little Canada to expand their design division. We are offering a contract-to-hire position, with compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mastery of 3D CAD tools, including but not limited to SolidWorks, Inventor, and Pro-E.
- Engage in the engineering design and analytical processes for constructing metal frameworks, weldments, sheet metal components, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Desirable (but not mandatory): Capability to execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) utilizing Ansys.
- Prior experience in the design of heavy-duty off-road machinery will be considered an asset.
- An Associate’s Degree (AAS) or a Bachelor’s Degree (BSME) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Inventor CAD, SolidWorks, and/or Pro-E Creo.
- Experience in designing for sectors such as heavy off-road machinery, oil processing equipment, or mobile machinery design is preferred
