Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

An experienced Structural Design Engineer is needed to concept, design and develop heavy fabrications for the Small Wheel Loader Structures Team

Typical task breakdown:

- A typical day would include designing heavy structures for the SWL product for NPIs and supporting CPI/field issues. An engineer on the SWL Structures team is expected to design products in Creo, run analysis in Creo Simulate, and release new parts through Teamcenter. He/she would also be expected to support field, supplier, and assembly line issues as they arise with a heavy focus on teamwork and problem solving.

Interaction with team:

- Frequent interaction internally and externally

Work environment:

Typically office environment, potential to visit manufacturing environments/plants in the field (90% in-office or more)

Education & Experience Required:

- B.S. Degree in Engineering Required

- Will consider candidates with a Master’s Degree

- 3+ years prior experience in heavy fabrications design minimum

- No experience cap

Technical Skills

(Required)

- Creo (or equivalent CAD software ie. SolidWorks)

- Creo Simulate experience (or analysis equivalent software ie. Nastran)
