Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Rate: Up to $ 67/hr (W2 Contract)

Our client, a technology and e-commerce leader, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting the satellite program. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Design space hardware production processes and production lines.
• Lead equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage critical vendors.
• Define material flow and manufacturing processes from scratch.
• Support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis.
  
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics.
• Proven track record in rapid prototype tooling and production tooling.
• Strong project management skills.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter for PLM.
• Proficiency in NX for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Knowledge of mechanical tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP MES and ERP systems.
• Use of engineering project management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
