About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead deployments with customers and contribute to system design and integration. You will wear many hats, including designing and testing components for mobile robotic equipment, traveling to execute deployments at customers sites and interfacing with customers. We will expect you to grow with the company and take on additional leadership roles over time.

Responsibilities
- Operate and improve autonomous mobile robotic systems
- Design, prototype and test mechanical or electronic subcomponents
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electronic robotic equipment
- Calibrate sensors and other system components
- Ensure all service actions are captured, defined, and documented
- Interface with customers and provide support
- Travel to US-based customer sites and provide field support, as required
- Collaborate with other teams within the company in a fast-paced environment
What we look for
- B.S./M.S degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or other engineering disciplines (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotic system operation/testing or field deployments in robotics, aerospace or automotive
- Proficiency with at least one industry-standard CAD software
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Should be comfortable taking ownership of tasks with light supervision
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Passion for high level of customer service and follow through
- Strong communication skills
- (Good to have) Experience with Python, C or C++
