Join Lockheed Martin as a Mechanical Engineer on our Site Integration team, supporting the Production and Sustainment operations in Greenville, South Carolina. This site is crucial for the sustainment of F-16 and C-130 aircraft and houses the production of F-16s. In this role, you will play an active part in providing engineering solutions to the operations teams, ensuring the smooth execution of sustainment activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of lifting devices and rigging to ensure they meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Assist the Ground Support Equipment team in the ongoing maintenance and refurbishment of equipment to ensure operational readiness and reliability.
Collaborate with the Backshop fabrication team to support their operational activities, providing engineering expertise and solutions as needed.
Interface with third-party vendors to support various projects, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Provide engineering solutions to any issues presented by the operations teams, ensuring minimal disruption to production and sustainment activities.
Implement and adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance measures to maintain high standards in all engineering activities and support operations.
