Meeting Coordinator, Junior
Key Role:
Manage meeting services in-box via Cvent and Outlook and qualify corporate and government events. Manage team's Meeting Card monthly. Build registration websites via Cvent. Assist Meeting Planners with various meeting related tasks. Assist clients by conducting research on all phases of meeting and event planning to include the initial client consultation, budget assessment, competitive source or due diligence and site selection, contract review and negotiation, plan and execute meeting or event logistics, create conference registration websites via Cvent software, attendee maintenance and collection of registration fees, registration reports, work with hotels to finalize logistics such as F&B, AV, room set, sleeping rooms, transportation, onsite management and execution, final meeting close out, invoice reconciliation, payment, and event summary.
Basic Qualifications:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with all aspects of meeting planning
- Ability to qualify requests through detailed questions and general understanding of issues and or concerns
- Ability to maintain quality standards, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stay within specific budget requirements
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- CMP certification
- 1+ years of experience with meeting planning preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Cvent Registration Tool
- Ability to be a team player who is able to manage multiple tasks and projects, through effective time management, organization, and planning
- Ability to learn and become efficient in a new software tool
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
