We're currently seeking an enthusiastic sales and merchandising assistant to work full time remotely. Ideal candidate would be local , Fargo, ND to work closely with Vice President who resides in Fargo. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is a detail orientated, organized individual who wants to build his/her career with an accessory distributor. Carole Inc. has evolved into being one of the industry’s most recognized fashion jewelry and accessories suppliers. We design, sell and distribute private label merchandise to department stores, mid-tier, specialty and discount retailers. We’re seeking an individual who aspires to grow within an organization and learn the inner workings of an accessory distributor with the intentions of being in sales or merchandising in the future.
In this role you will handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities that relate to each customer. Typical duties will include:
Assist with customer service, sample tracking, order updates and follow-up.
Data input into our internal system.
Data input into customer portals and/or specified documents, which may include descriptions, measurements, material content and images.
Direct communication with overseas factories to express the product detail for pricing requests.
Assist in preparing digital sales presentations for customers
Adjust product color or size digitally within Photoshop to meet the customer’s needs.
Showroom prep - sample management
Special projects that arise from time-to-time.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel.
Ability to utilize Photoshop to digitally correct photographs or images a huge plus!
College degree or equivalent work-related experience.
Desire to understand jewelry and accessory construction, materials and fit.
Must be driven, extremely detail oriented, flexible and accommodating with a positive attitude.
Strong willingness to understand the current fashion trends and how it relates to our product categories and our current or potential customers
Understanding of retail math, a plus.
