One of Medix's insurance clients is hiring for a remote MFA Engineer. It is a long term contract that has the opportunity to convert permanently.

Position Info - Day to day responsibilities/understanding of the project this person is being hired on to do

• Standard day is evaluating platform
• Look at policies and configurations in DUO
• They have a lot of items that will be decommissioned
• Someone that will understand best practices
• It hasn't always been in the IAM space and they didn't build everything out properly so this person will be helping influence decisions within the organization / IAM team
• Someone that can come in and re architect the policies and understand what needs to be caught from a policy standpoint
• They need to bolster some of their policies
• Someone that understands DUO and the capabilities within DUO
• Some strategy planning as well
• Looking at other new tools and putting together use cases for the environment and as they go forward evaluate other service providers etc.
• Someone that understands how there other platforms integrate together
• They have Ping as single sign on layer - that is IDP to Azure
• Very hands on position and someone that can come in and look at configurations and policies and making sure they are doing this correctly

3-5 Must-Have Skills/Qualifications (what’s the minimum requirement our candidate should have?)

• Understands how everything fits together, collaboration with network
• Need 5+ years and is proven in the niche area of authentication
• Someone that comes from a larger environment would be ideal (corporate experience)
• They have DUO for MFA integrated with Ping but when they go to Azure MFA 3rd party requirements they need someone to understand that environment
• DUO and Ping MFA tools
• Azure environment experience

Nice to haves

• Soft skills (collaboration and communication with architects and engineers and the way that Gallagher is set up there is so many divisions so this person needs to be able to work with the business and support the users in the space)

Technologies/Tools:

• Duo - a multi-factor authentication (MFA) and two-factor authentication (2FA) solution that helps organizations increase security by verifying user identity and establishing device trust.
• Ping background (those providers are what they utilize)
• Ping is the top but if they have other MFA provider experience and they can demonstrate how policies are built and how that impacts users
• Azure app registration
