Microsoft System Administrator

**This is a hybrid position, which requires working in the Harrisburg, PA area office 3 days a week.**

The Microsoft System Administrator performs advanced work for specialized line-of-business applications, project management, and application licensing.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements, and maintains the Windows server environment used throughout the organization.
• Configures, troubleshoots, and maintains physical and virtual servers, and the applications and services they provide including MECM, Hyper-V, Snow, DHCP, SCOM, AD, ADFS, and DNS.
• Monitors server and application logs; and work ticket queue.
• Designs, implements, and maintains cloud-based technology including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Office 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Azure.
• Manages user IDs, third-party access, and access security in the server environment.
• Provides administration of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). Uses MECM to manage desktops, and servers.
• Serves as a point of contact for managing the organization's operating system, application, and cloud-based licenses.
• Assists in the research and recommendation for emerging technologies for future initiatives for enterprise implementation.
• Manages incoming DNS requests in a timely manner. Coordinates server IP address changes, security policies, and DNS changes with Network Security.
• Develops strategic and operational plans for continual growth and evolving user requirements.
• Assists with software procurement by researching past purchases, current usage, and terms and conditions.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Office 365, Hyper-V, VMWare, Active Directory, PKI, DNS, Microsoft Azure, Exchange , Microsoft Intune, and DHCP
• Knowledge of enterprise operating systems, applications, and cloud-based licensing standards and best practices is required.
