We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to serve as the Middle School Athletic Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing the athletics program at the middle school level. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting student involvement in sports and physical activity. The Middle School Athletic Coordinator will teach and carry out the philosophy of the Titan Athletic Program to the middle school athletes.
This is as stipend position.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in athletics administration or coaching, preferably at the middle school level preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills to motivate and inspire coaches, students, and staff.
Knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Manage and implement a comprehensive athletics program that offers a variety of sports and activities to middle school students.
Coordinate with school administration, teachers, coaches, and parents to ensure the smooth operation of all athletic programs.
Schedule and organize practices, games, and tournaments for middle school sports teams.
Assist in the recruitment & hiring as well as management of coaches for each sports team.
Manage equipment and facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to eligibility, conduct, and participation in athletics.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding athletics schedules, updates, and important information.
Coordinate transportation and logistics for athletic events, including arranging buses and securing facilities.
Manage the set-up, breakdown and the event operations of all middle school athletic events.
Conduct website edits and updates for Middle School Athletics website.
Assist in the development and management of the athletics budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
