Motion Designer

Our client in New York City is seeking a Motion Designer to join their team on a contract basis. The candidate will join an internal creative studio client at a leading home connectivity and telecomm brand that encompasses internet, streaming, and cellular services. This is a contract position that offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with a talented group of individuals who are revolutionizing the way people connect and communicate.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually stunning motion graphics and animations that align with our brand's vision and messaging.
• Collaborate closely with our creative team, including designers, copywriters, and producers, to develop and execute engaging visual concepts.
• Design and animate assets for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations.
• Bring concepts to life through storytelling and effective use of animation techniques, ensuring a seamless and compelling user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new techniques and technologies into your work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and excellence in design.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Motion Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your creativity, technical skills, and ability to tell stories through motion graphics.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D animation software is a plus.
• Solid understanding of design principles, animation principles, and typography.
• Strong visual storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually compelling narratives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate your ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing your time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
