Motion Designer

The role

Company Overview:

Our growing team is seeking a Motion Designer to join our squad of socially-led thinkers, doers and creators. We are looking for someone who is capable of conceptual thinking and fluent in motion, editing and tasteful design practices. They’ll know that a good social idea only becomes great when you make authentic connections with people that spark conversation.

What you’ll do:

You will contribute to, and oversee, excellent digital and social motion/editing and design work for clients within the food and beverage category. You have an elevated, but versatile, taste in design. You understand that nailing the look of native social trends is as nuanced as nailing sophisticated high design trends. You take part in cultural conversations, industry conversations, and brand conversations. You know what’s happening: who, where, when, and why. Your friends turn to you to explain what’s happening on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

Specifically, you will need to:

• Generate social-first conceptual ideas and execute them within contemporary design trends using the digital tools of the trade
• Demonstrate strong typography & layout skills for beautiful comps, decks, and presentations
• Pitch concepts and present work directly to clients
• Prioritize a high volume of deliverables and manage multiple deadlines
• Establish look-and-feel for content formats and campaigns
• Brief and direct photographers and videographers when shoots are necessary
  
  

What your experience looks like:

• 2-3 years working at an agency, studio, or comparable experience
• Comfortable working in fast paced environment with high volume of deliverables
• Proficiency across Adobe Design suite, including After Effects and Premiere
• Strong portfolio showcasing an understanding of short-form content best practices and channels
• Experience pitching concepts and presenting work directly to clients
• Experience working with CPG and/or food and beverage clients
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
