Motion Graphic Designer

Job Description

The Motion Graphic Designer creates video content for projects which can include title and post-production work, as well as multimedia campaigns, technical illustrations and computer artwork for use in a variety of materials. While working closely with the Video Producer to ensure successful execution of goals of all assigned projects.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires one to three years of relevant work experience. College coursework in video production is preferred.

This position must possess knowledge in operating audio and visual equipment, editing moving images on variations of media, and synchronizing music with images. This position must also have the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, and have strong creative thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to create high quality content with minimal supervision and instruction.

Typical Job Functions

  • Operate video, audio and lighting equipment to shoot video in the field, studio and remote locations
  • Develop scripts and creative concepts for motion graphic design projects
  • Transport lighting and sound equipment and camera to location
  • Set up and take down equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve media system problems
  • Compress, digitize, duplicate and store audio and video tape
  • Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete films
  • Attend various job-related conferences, conventions, workshops and professional seminars to stay informed of the latest technology
  • Research and make recommendations on appropriate graphic designing equipment upgrades and/or additions
  • Keep abreast on new technologies and techniques
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

SALARY DETAILS

$29.56 - $38.93
