We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our digital team as a Motion Graphics Designer Intern. This internship will involve assisting in the creation of engaging video, including social media, our website, and other digital channels. The intern will work closely with our digital team to produce high-quality content that align with our brand and resonate with our target audience.
Experiential Learning and Training
Transform abstract concepts into compelling visual narratives, wireframes, and creative concepts.
Maintain organized files and project documentation to facilitate efficient workflow and project management.
Contribute to the development and evolution of the organization's visual identity through innovative motion design solutions.
Present work to internal teams, including Marketing Director
Uphold quality, visual, and brand standards consistently across all designs.
Remain adaptable and composed in response to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
Ensure all motion graphic deliverables meet quality, visual, and brand standards set forth by the organization.
Work independently while effectively collaborating with colleagues both in-person and virtually.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Graphic Motions, Animation, Editing, Communications)
Creativity and a passion for storytelling through various mediums.
Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
A portfolio or examples of previous video projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
Schedule
This is a temporary, part-time position, at 8 hours per week for 6-8 weeks.
This is an on-site position based out of the Chicago Architecture Center at 111 E Wacker Drive.
Start date is flexible.
