Motion Graphics Designer with CPG experience

A baby and children retail apparel and fashion brand is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to develop and create high-quality, engaging motion graphic content that enhances brand experiences and drives results. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating motion content for the consumer goods industry, strong skills in typography, web design, graphic design, and both 2D and 3D modeling/animation. They should also be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have a thorough understanding of post-production workflows and the latest video production techniques.

PAY - $40 - $50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and create top-notch, captivating, and innovative motion graphic content that enhances brand experiences and achieves desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Design Director to brainstorm ideas and implement design strategies for animation, audio, and video.
• Craft engaging interactive designs for diverse platforms, including mobile, web, and social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and Pinterest.
• Design and update layouts, incorporating revisions in art and text.
• Design contemporary email templates optimized for mobile viewing.
• Develop and manage branded visual elements for social media platforms and other properties such as blogs.
• Create static graphic designs for a range of marketing materials, including e-commerce content, emails, social media graphics, and website assets.
• Ensure creative quality control through the editing and approval process.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia/Digital Design or a related field, or possess equivalent experience in motion design.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating your Motion Graphics Design experience.
• Prior experience in creating motion content for the consumer goods industry.
• Exhibit strong skills in typography, web design, graphic design, and motion design, including both 2D and 3D modeling/animation.
• Possess a working knowledge of sound mixing, color correction, and video production techniques.
• Have a thorough understanding of post-production workflow and the latest video production methods.
• Be experienced in storyboarding for video and motion graphics.
• A background in producing content for social media platforms and websites.
• Proficient with Mac-based graphics programs, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), and Microsoft Office software.
• Have creative and technical expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other related tools.
