JOB SUMMARY: The Landscape Crew Leader acts as a liaison between team members and management. The Landscape Crew Leader is able to transport, motivate, and manage their team members daily. The ideal candidate is competent with horticulture practices, landscape installation methods, and heavy equipment operation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, frequently. Ability to work with others and under minimal supervision Able to follow oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor Able to operate all landscape equipment safely and proficiently Able to work with environmental risks ( in heat/cold, bees, poison oak/ivy, etc.) Able to manage daily team activity Able to communicate openly from field to Supervisor Able to ensure sufficient resources and materials are available for daily schedule Must be competent in horticulture practices, landscaping, and landscape installations Must comply with NCTC policies and procedures Must comply with safety regulations and wear company provided eye and ear protection as required Must report equipment problems and failures to Supervisor immediately Must prepare assigned equipment for upcoming daily use Must conduct self in a professional manner at all times Valid Driver's license required and truck/trailer or box truck driving experience preferred North Carolina Turf Care offers the following

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience with a commercial landscaping company. Previous experience as a crew leader is also required. Any experience with hardscape installation is encouraged.
