Compensation depends on experience: 1,800-2,200
Hours: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Overseeing Multi-Family Projects
Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned Hourly/Sub-Contractor workers in accordance with the engineers’ specifications and the National Electric Code
Knowledge of local electrical code and regulations required by City Inspectors for purpose of adhering to projects schedule by passing inspections at each phase of the project.
Manage material to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and staged
Manage cost control focusing on optimizing production processes, reducing material waste, and improving and/or maintaining operational efficiency.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision
Maintains working relationship with subcontractors, division managers, and other skilled trades
Analyzes and resolves work problems
Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
Assess material, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks and ensure all items required are ordered and at the job site in compliance with the scheduled requirements
Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman in Multi-Family area
Possess knowledge of the current National Electric Code
A valid driver’s license
Ability to read and accurately interpret construction electrical drawings
Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment
Must have Multi Family experience as a Job Foreman
