Job Summary

Our Retirement Plans Division is hiring a National Accounts Sales Coordinator! This sales support role will play a critical role in supporting relationships with key distribution and Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) partners, executing our loyalty programs and managing coordination for industry events. Your efforts will contribute to the sales success of our overall retirement plan business and enhance our partners’ experience.

  • Partner Data Management: Collaborate with internal & external partners to gather, analyze & maintain accurate partner data. Team with National Accounts Sales Directors to better understand the various investment analytics & RFP tools our partners are using & how to best provide them with necessary data.
  • DCIO Program Delivery: Collaborate with our DCIO Program owner, investment operations & data management teams, to ensure our investment partners have a positive experience. Ensure partners receive delivery of data, monitor key business metrics, collect & manage library of DCIO value-adds & share ideas with our sales teams.
  • Program & Event Management: Leverage teamwork, creativity & project management skills to align The Standard’s brand at industry conferences & events. Manage the advisor loyalty program and benefits & monitor key metrics. Lead efforts around Standard hosted programs, like due diligence visits, Power of Partnership and Advisor Council.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% annually is a requirement of the role. *
  • Ability to transfer or obtain a FINRA Series 6 or 7, a FINRA Series 63, and life insurance license, within 90 days of your date of hire is a requirement of the role. *

Skills And Background You’ll Need

  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales support or project/event planning & coordination role required.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% annually to industry events.
  • Required to transfer or obtain a FINRA Series 6 or 7, a FINRA Series 63, as well as life insurance license, within 90 days of hire.
  • Retirement plan industry preferred.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
  • Performance guarantees may be applied to roles with highly incentivized compensation plans for a specified period of time, to support a new hire’s transition into the sales incentive plan.

Salary Range:

$90,000 base salary, plus monthly incentive
