This position is hybrid and remote eligible for up to 40% of the time.
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Must remain flexible to meet current and future business needs
Purpose of Position:
The Network Administrator position supports the Network Engineers and Desktop Support Supervisor to ensure that the performance and availability of the network infrastructure is maintained to the highest standard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency. Works with the Network Engineers in the installation of new network devices and the ongoing administration and support. Provides Tier 3 technical support as escalated by the Desktop Support Supervisor. Escalates network issues to Network Engineers as appropriate and works with Network Engineers to resolve. Provides quality network consultation to business units and other Systems & Technology departments as directed.

Provides quality network consultation to business units and other Systems & Technology departments as directed.
Accountabilities: Maintain, monitor, and engineer ESL's Campus Network
- Maintains network performance and availability by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors.
- Ensuring sufficient capacity and the allocation of network resources with regular capacity planning tasks
- Work with Information Security to assure that ESL's systems are secure and meet all operational and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct testing of new/upgraded systems and/or software.
- Participate in local and corporate projects, and act as a Network Services consultant to those project teams.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and address ESL business needs.
- Ensure that Network Services documentation is well-organized, up to date and maintained in a fashion that provides easy access and usability.
- Ownership and day-to-day support in the administration of the ESL Campus Network, excluding data centers.
- Collaborate with Network Engineers and Desktop Support Supervisor to coordinate and perform routine maintenance of ESL Campus Network Equipment.
- Collaborate with Network Engineers and Systems Engineers for installation, cabling, labelling, and maintenance of Data Center network equipment.
- Ensure Data Center documentation is up to date with regular audits and grooming.
- Collaborate with Desktop Technicians to troubleshoot issues with ESL Campus Network access including wired, wireless, and Network Access Control policies.
- Act as mentor for Desktop Technicians and encourage collaboration and growth between teams.
- Handle day to day ServiceNow incidents and requests related to web browsing issues and Guest wireless issues.
- Assist Network Engineers with ongoing network segmentation projects.
- Handle day to day support of Forescout Network Appliance and assist with any ServiceNow related incidents to network access issues.
- Assist Card & ATM team with escalations at ATM Kiosks and Branches as well as assisting their external vendors.
- Assist Physical Security with escalations on ESL Campus for IP Cameras as well as assisting external vendors.
- Approach each client interaction with the intent of providing exceptional service.
- Provide a high-level of professionalism and technical expertise when consulting on any projects, issues and/or related customer and stakeholder interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Cybersecurity/Computer Sciences or other related discipline
- Minimum of two years of strong network hardware and software knowledge and experience
- Excellent communications and presentations skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, and coordination skills.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills required. Must be abled to work effectively with all levels of ESL organization.
- Experience with Arista Networks and Cisco Meraki
