Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer network and all connected PCs and peripherals, including planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end user training where required.
This job has supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CCNA, A+, and Network+. A four year college degree preferred or relevant technical experience

Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer network and all connected PCs and peripherals, including planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end user training where required.
- Perform network administration duties including LAN, and wireless configuration
- Perform network design and capacity planning
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware software, and peripheral devices
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
- Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
- Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs
- Provide first hand support, IT training, and troubleshooting to all office staff for IT matters
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- Develop, document, and train on hardware installation and troubleshooting procedures
- Perform Servicedesk, on site and escalatory support of computer applications and hardware
- Perform upgrades and configuration changes to computers systems
- Provide initial and/or secondary response to approximately local and remote employees
- Ability to logically troubleshoot and repair computers, peripherals and network devices
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP
- Utilize image software to load/create standardized computer systems
- Provide installation/configuration of network-based printers
- Installation and configuration of network devices, such as switches
- PaloAlto Firewalls configuration and management experience
- Cisco Firewalls configuration and management experience
- Cisco and Aerohive wireless experience
- HP Networks experience
- Perform other duties as assigned
