We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Architect to join our Facilities and Administrative Services (FAS) Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in mapping the current network, developing strategies for redesign, and enhancing the cybersecurity and efficiency of our Building Automation System (Client) network.
Key Responsibilities
Client Network Integration:
Design and implement a strategy for securely incorporating the Client network across all commonwealth campuses.
Ensure seamless integration while maintaining high security and operational efficiency.
Network Mapping and Analysis:
Collaborate with the FAS Network Team to comprehensively map the existing network infrastructure.
Develop a thorough understanding of the operations and configurations within the current network setup.
Network Redesign Strategy:
Assist in formulating a strategy to redesign the network to enhance security, reliability, and efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the redesigned network meets organizational needs and standards.
Cybersecurity Improvement Plan:
Assist in creating an action plan to address and resolve cybersecurity gaps identified through audits.
Implement measures to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of the Client network.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Work with the existing team to support ongoing projects related to commonwealth integration and local network enhancements.
Provide expertise and guidance to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with best practices.
