Job Title: Network Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and performance analysis to anticipate future needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Experience in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance
