JOB SUMMARY: This position requires you to be onsite, no remote. Candidate must be able to work in the United States without restrictions.
Responsible for day to day support of wide and local area networks, brocade fabric, VMware, Cisco UCS, security devices, storage devices such as HP 3Par, HP XP20000 and Dell iSCSI, enterprise backup solutions such as Tivoli Storage Manager or Veeam and server hardware throughout the hospital and its affiliates. Monitors network status, identifies and resolves network problems, and maintains security related devices.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
May be scheduled as needed including overtime
Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel.
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
8+ years Proven on the job related experience (Required)
2 - 3 years Network Administration (Preferred)
2 - 3 years Experience in TCP/IP networks, with routing and switching (Preferred)
2 - 3 years Experience in Operating systems; especially Microsoft server (Preferred)
2 - 3 years Experience supporting and maintaining application software; (i.e., faxserver, Exchange mail and Microsoft Office) (Preferred)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrators (MCSAs), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+
