Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a large Juniper-based network across multiple campuses.
• Implement network backups and replacement strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee the migration to Office 365, optimizing network performance and user experience.
• Lead the transition to Azure, leveraging cloud services to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Configure and test firewalls, implementing failover procedures to safeguard network integrity.
• Collaborate on the migration from OKTA to a new identity management solution.
• Manage the Nutanix virtual environment, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Juniper networks.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Nutanix).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Juniper, Microsoft, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with Office 365 migration projects.
• Knowledge of identity management solutions.
