Network Engineer

Network Engineer – 6 Months Contract (Extension Available) - US – Remote

We are currently seeking a skilled Network Engineer for a 6month initial contract to join our client. If you have extensive experience in network configuration, security, and systems engineering, we encourage you to apply.

Network Engineer Requirements:

• Configuration knowledge of Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and other network hardware.
• Understanding of LAN Switching at L2 and LAN/WAN Routing at L3.
• Knowledge of LAN to LAN VPNs, including legacy MPLS and SD WAN.
• Proficiency in Perimeter Security (Firewall & IDS).
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPOs.
• Proficiency with virtualisation technologies (VMWare, HyperV).
• Familiarity with monitoring systems (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Microsoft Exchange and O365 migration knowledge (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) is a plus.

Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension Available)

Rate: Up to $65 per hour

Travel: May be required occasionally within the UK/US/Canada (all expenses covered)
