Techstaff, The Technical Placement Specialists, is looking for Entry to Intermediate level Network Specialists to support a local Tampa government division. We seek two years of experience providing network administration, setup, installation, upgrades, and preventative/remedial maintenance for enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), voice communications infrastructure/systems (including Voice Over IP), and wireless networking systems.
Expectations For (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
Performs remedial troubleshooting, preventative/remedial maintenance, installation, configuration, and upgrades, for enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), wireless networking, and voice communications infrastructure/systems (including Voice Over IP).
Drives a vehicle to remote locations to deliver, pickup, install and/or troubleshoot equipment problems.
Knowledge of industry standards, characteristics, features and troubleshooting methods associated with network routing protocols, and/or switching methodologies, and/or firewall concepts, Virtual Private Networking (VPN) connectivity, VoIP, and data network infrastructure.
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects, tasks and time to meet delivery dates.
Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware/software technical issues associated with enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), wireless networking, and voice communications infrastructure/systems (including Voice Over IP)
Work effectively with others and provide superior customer service to end-users.
Project professionalism and be a role model to peers and subordinate positions.
Communicate effectively both written and orally to end-users, vendors, management, and peers.
Two years of experience providing network administration, setup, installation, upgrades, and preventative/remedial maintenance for enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), voice communications infrastructure/systems (including Voice Over IP), and wireless networking systems.
