JOB TITLE: New Patient Coordinator

General Summary Of Duties

Our Patient Servece Representatives are integral in the smooth operation of the practice and will:

• Greet patients and provide superior patient relations
• Receive referrals from physicians and facilities
• Answer incoming calls (heavy call volume), verify patient insurance benefits, and administer patient registration
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments within EMR
• Communicate with referring offices regarding patient appointment statuses
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer literate
• Ability to multitask
• Previous Patient Coordinator experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of general medical terminology preferred
