We are looking for a dedicated NP to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care as part of a healthcare team. Our patients are first responders and law enforcement personnel enrolled in a cardiac wellness program. All care is delivered remotely, offering a flexible schedule with no travel required. This contract position allows for scheduled dates in advance, ideal for those seeking supplemental income or flexible workdays. Professional liability coverage is provided, with additional opportunities available for applicants licensed in multiple states or willing to obtain additional licensure.
Responsibilities
Reviewing lab results, cardio-metabolic testing, stress testing, and other diagnostic modalities.
Conducting detailed History & Physical (H&P) examinations.
Consulting with supervising Cardiologist as necessary.
Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals.
Communicating effectively with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
Consulting with patients on outcomes, wellness strategies, and preventive care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in cardiology preferred.
Ability to build strong rapport with patients.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates strong leadership qualities.
Comfortable and experienced in remote work settings.
Active NP license in California.
