Hera Women’s Health is a national collaborative practice of professionals redefining the future of women’s health. As an innovative women's healthcare group in Nevada, we are looking to add superior OBGYN hospitalists to our already impressive roster of providers. In our groundbreaking model you will not only be supported by fellow hospitalists and practice OBGYNs, but also one of the largest MFM private practices in the country. Avenir Women’s Health, our flagship hospitalist program supports two robust hospitals in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. We are an OB hospitalist program that is patient-focused and evidence-based. We strive to provide an optimal level of care placing emphasis on patient safety, quality and customer service. We are redefining the future of women’s health.

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, friendly and team-oriented OB/GYN Hospitalists to join our growing practice in Las Vegas/Henderson metro area. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering comprehensive obstetric care to patients of all ages, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient satisfaction.

You will enjoy:

• Beautiful medical centers with state-of-the-art birthing center staffed with one of the most experienced and skilled teams in Nevada
• 10 – 15 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Close interaction, support and collaboration from our local MFM practice -integration with this team is key to how we operate!

• And opportunities to continue to learn and grow yourself with specific programs and initiatives including:
• Fetal monitoring certification
• Transvaginal cervical length (TVCL) assessment skills to become CLEAR certified.
• BLS certification
• Completion of the critical care obstetrics course by the SMFM
• Every other year attendance at the Society for OB/GYN Hospitalist meeting
• Basic OB ultrasound skills training under MFM supervision during training
• Implicit bias training to reduce provider related healthcare inequity
• Link to MFM practice with excellent infrastructure with EHR, voice dictation, PACS, genetic counselors, advanced practitioners, and top of the line ultrasound equipment and specialists trained in detailed anatomic ultrasound, and fetal echocardiography
• An opportunity to make a positive impact with community OB/GYNs and make system-wide improvement

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license/ability to get medical license to practice in the state of Nevada
• Proven experience as an OB/GYN Physician
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working on a team
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
