Simplex Wellness is actively hiring a Wellness Specialist for a brand new rehabilitation facility in Torresdale, PA. Primary responsibilities include equipment orientations, light cleaning, exercise support, and administering membership account maintenance as needed.
Certification Requirements: CPR/AED or willing to obtain in the first 30 days of employment. Fitness certification a plus, but not required.
Hours are Monday through Friday up to 24 hours per week. Operating hours range between 6am and 6pm. This is an hourly role up to $18 per hour.
In this role you can expect a typical day to consist of:
Resolvingmember concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed
Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and facility
Having the ability to show members how to properly use the fitness equipment
Promptly addressing maintenance and facility concerns such as broken and/or missing equipment
Continual standing and moving throughout the center to accomplish tasks during shift
Moving self in different positions, including bending and twisting, to accomplish task
Ability to liftup to 50lbs
Experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, but not required.
