Location: Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 N. Congress, Austin, Texas 78701. - Onsite - Local Candidates only

Additional Information

  • Candidate MUST have at least 15 years of total IT experience*
  • Same Department prior experience is mandatory, and Recent projects

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in performing the essential functions, including experience with USAS and CAPPS Financials systems.
  • Expert understanding of state financial processes, accounting structure, and standards.
  • Strong experience in documenting, analyzing, and making recommendations that improve the efficiency of business processes.
  • Aability to quickly and clearly communicate technical information to non-technical persons.

Desirable Skills

  • 1 year of experience with USAS and CAPPS and IT Implementations, and state budget and accounting processes
  • 1 year of experience Attend scheduled meetings,
  • Meet deadlines,
  • Organize and manage assigned tasks,
  • Work efficiently and effectively in performance of essential functions.
