OpenReplay Analytics Specialist

Main Functional Role: The OpenReplay Analytics Specialist (Volunteer) is responsible for managing OpenReplay to monitor, analyze, and improve user interactions and performance on web applications. This role also involves extracting data and producing analytics reports to drive product improvements and enhance customer experience.

Interactions: This position will work closely with development teams, UX/UI designers, product managers, data analysts, and customer support to identify and resolve issues, enhance user experience, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage OpenReplay to capture and replay user interactions on web applications
• Collaborate with development and UX teams to define session replay and analytics requirements, ensuring comprehensive data capture
• Extract and analyze session replay data to identify and troubleshoot user experience issues and performance bottlenecks
• Produce detailed analytics reports to inform product improvements and enhance customer experience
• Develop and maintain documentation for session replay implementation, data extraction, analysis processes, and best practices
  
  

Technical/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role involving session replay, web analytics, or user experience optimization
• Proficiency in OpenReplay or similar session replay tools is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data extraction and analysis using Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Looker
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom implementations is a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or JavaScript Certification (Codecademy or Coursera), are a plus
