LolaVie is actively seeking a new team member to oversee and manage our logistics and operations, supporting both our growing retail partnerships and our direct-to-consumer (D2C) business. As a newly-launched brand with a rapidly expanding presence, we need top-tier talent to ensure our products reach both our retail partners and D2C customers efficiently and effectively. In this role, you’ll be responsible for daily management of 3PLs, optimizing all incoming and outgoing freight, and ensuring seamless, timely deliveries across all channels.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and external partners, to develop and execute logistics strategies that drive our brand’s growth. Your expertise will be crucial in managing relationships with retailers, streamlining D2C fulfillment, and solving complex logistical challenges to maintain our high standards of service.


Ideal candidates are detail-oriented problem solvers with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, encompassing both retail and D2C operations. You should have a deep understanding of inventory management, and distribution networks. Given the fast-paced nature of our business and the dynamic landscape of both retail and D2C markets, you will need to be a proactive self-starter who can adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for brands 3PLs
  • Assist with set-up of the brand’s international 3PLs
  • Utilize the sites Warehouse Management Systems to optimize perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve effectiveness
  • Optimize freight costs to ensure cost-effective logistics.
  • Set up and track all inbound and outbound product shipments
  • Troubleshoot EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders.
  • Onboard new retailers.
  • Receive, process, and track all retailer orders while ensuring on-time shipment and full order fulfillment
  • Communicate directly with retailers to maintain a clear channel of communication.
  • Handle all retail sampling requests and track samples for retailer programs
  • Track and dispute retail chargebacks.
  • Maintain and update the inventory movement report
  • Prepare monthly inventory valuations
  • Assist with inventory demand planning and inventory distribution
  • Develop, lead, and improve upon all operations reporting including but not limited to RTS (Return to Sender), returns, and inventory reporting
  • Assist in creating SOPs and keep them up to date
  • Assist with production order tracking as needed.


The successful candidate will have or will be:

  • Minimum four years of relevant and proven experience in Retail Operations, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment or a similar role
  •  Experience with EDI, WMS and ERP systems
  • Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
  • Metrics driven mindset
  • Customer service obsession, with willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs
  • Excellent collaborator and team player, with demonstrated success working effectively with internal and external business partners
  • Self-starter, independent and proactive worker; ability to take on new projects and work on tight deadlines with little supervision
  • Beauty brand or similar consumer product experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • The position will require some domestic travel to sites as needed. 
  • The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in New York or New Jersey
