OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Location: Solon, OH

Job Summary:

As the leader of our Operations Team, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of supply chain operations within the Americas. This role focuses on the implementation and day-to-day management of supply chain and operation processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness. This position includes management of the following departments: Procurement, Stock Room, Shipping/Receiving, Spares & Repairs and Production. In addition, you will be managing supervisors and a direct labor force. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and be able to lead a team of professionals to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Define annual objectives to drive performance
• Coach and develop teams with focus on competencies and performance
• Develop strategies for effective inventory management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all operations are aligned with company goals and objectives
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations or in Business Administration
• 15 years of Operations and Supply Chain experience
• 10 years of managerial experience
• Result oriented (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of team management and development
