Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Manager to become an integral part of our team! The Operations Manager position is management position that manages all areas of the installation and repairs. This role is responsible for hiring and developing Crew Leaders and Installers to support the installation side of the business; enabling significant growth efficiently and effectively. This role is also responsible, along with General Manager, for the safety, quality and productivity of our installation crews. The success of the organization, customer satisfaction, and sustainment of the company’s stellar reputation depends on professional, skilled and experienced installation crews. This role requires people leadership, sound judgement and strong business acumen. Direct and cogent communication, issue escalation and full transparency with the General Manager necessary for success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve operational practices
• Allocate resources and materials to meet project deadlines
• Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
• Provide daily operations oversight for outside teams
• Formalize policies and procedures in accordance to company regulations
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operations or other related fields
• Strong project management skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership qualities
  
  

Helpful knowledge or experience with:

• Synthetic grass/turf specifications and details
• PGA golf course design or operations
• Landscaping or construction industry
• Installation related businesses
• Design or building of putting greens, commercial or residential lawn/landscape turf applications, playground or sports fields, or pet friendly spaces
