Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud and EBS Financials Functional Consultant with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in AP Tax, AP Payment Processes, and AP Accounting. This role requires exceptional skills in working with business users globally, extensive experience in intercompany transactions, and a proactive approach to month-end closing processes. The consultant will be responsible for configuring AP, AR, and GL modules, preparing fit-gap analysis, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and production cutover planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Functional Expertise: Demonstrate strong functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable (AP), including AP Tax, AP Payment Processes, and AP Accounting.
• Intercompany Experience: Manage and support intercompany transactions and processes to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Month-End Closing: Assist business users with month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Configuration: Configure Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) modules in Oracle Cloud and EBS.
• Fit-Gap Analysis: Prepare detailed fit-gap analyses to identify discrepancies between business requirements and system capabilities and recommend solutions.
• User Support: Collaborate with business users globally to provide support, resolve issues, and ensure effective use of the financial systems.
• Testing and Validation: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure the solution meets business needs and requirements.
• Production Cutover Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive production cutover plans to ensure a smooth transition to new systems or processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud ERP AP.
• Intercompany Transactions: Proven experience managing intercompany transactions and processes.
• Technical Skills: Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and EBS Financials, particularly AP, AR, and GL modules.
• Global User Support: Experience working with business users globally, providing support and training as needed.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare fit-gap analyses and recommend solutions based on business requirements.
• Project Leadership: Experience leading UAT/SIT and production cutover planning, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Oracle Cloud ERP Financials certification is a plus.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
