Pay: $40 - $90ph

Roles:

Using OSINT & Asset Tracing expertise, you will support a look-back initiative on behalf of a large Consulting firm. This work will either be remote or based locally (in either DC, Boston or NYC) and require Investigators to take on 40-hours work per week.

To be considered for this project, we request that you have a minimum of 5 years’ worth of OSINT experience and ideally have supported investigations in the Cryptocurrency industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive investigations into cryptocurrency-related activities, including fraud, money laundering, and

other financial crimes by utilizing various tools and software that is made available.

• Utilize blockchain forensics tools to track and analyze cryptocurrency transactions.

• Perform in-depth OSINT investigations to gather off-chain information about individuals and entities involved in crypto

activities, and to relay this information to leadership and others in the team.

• Integrate on-chain analysis with off-chain intelligence to provide a complete picture of investigative targets.

• To assist in asset recovery efforts for stolen or fraudulently obtained cryptocurrencies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ worth of experience in law enforcement investigations, or Financial Crime investigations with a Cryptocurrency business is needed.

• Having a strong understanding of blockchain technology and various cryptocurrencies is required

• Proficiency in using blockchain analysis tools and OSINT techniques

• Ability to think critically and strategically, seeing beyond initial facts presented

• Familiarity with operational security, sandbox environments, and threat actor profiling

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
