Outpatient Physical Therapist

Part-time, Flexible Hours, Mon-Fri 8-5

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will join an Orthopedic Medical group and play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and surgery. In this position, you will work with a diverse range of patients, providing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to improve their overall quality of life.

We are looking for a friendly personality with excellent patient care skills. A compassionate PT who makes patients feel comfortable and welcomed into therapy session.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical and functional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidenced-based practice
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to improve patients' physical function, mobility, and pain management
• Educate patients and their families about the goals and expectations of physical therapy, as well as home exercise programs and self-management strategies
• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the course of treatment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in the field of physical therapy
• Adhere to professional ethics standards, confidentiality requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs
  
  
  

Requirements

• Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach towards patients
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Previous experience in outpatient or ambulatory care setting is preferred
