The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue within the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and N. Louisiana territory by maintaining relationships, expanding opportunities with existing customers, and by developing business with prospective clients.
- Maintain and develop existing client relationships
- Proactively seek new sales opportunities by networking and calling on prospective clients weekly
- Showcase new collections through in-person presentations
- Respond to client inquiries regarding product information, scheming, quotes, and sample requests
- Build sample libraries for design firms
- Educate designers on uses of trim and inspire them with schemes, social media, install photos, etc.
- Participate in territory trade shows, pop-ups, and other industry events
- Maintain and seek potential agent showrooms in major cities. Train staff, and provide necessary signage, display, and books
- Proactively seek and grow hospitality accounts
- Be a market expert. Current with interior design trends, the players in the industry, projects in your designated territory, and industry events, visit local showcase houses, etc.
- Successfully maintain a full calendar of presentations including up to 40% road travel
- Manage a monthly travel and entertainment budget
- Responsible for meeting sales quotas and territory goals
- Assist in the Dallas showroom in absence of the Design Consultant
- All other duties as assigned by Senior Management
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Regional sales experience in the interior design industry preferred
- A self-starter with a high level of energy
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving and presentation skills
- Excellent communication with strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Interest in interior design and textiles
- Must be multitask oriented with the ability to work in fast paced setting
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Base salary plus incentive
- Comprehensive medical, dental & vision with HSA option
- 401K plan with a 4% company match

- 15 days PTO, floating holiday option, and 10 holidays
