OYC-IE2- Work Readiness

Team Leads will serve as liaisons between schools, members and the staff conducting outreach and assisting OYC staff with program services. As team leads they are also responsible for providing peer support through coaching and mentoring; conducting research for content, and supporting OYC staff during site visits and team meetings.

Member Duties : This program is designed to assist students with obtaining employment, provide financial coaching, assist students with applying for college, vocational school and or scholarships as well as provide ACT/SAT preparation support. The overall goal is to address economic disparities in our community by ensuring youth learn the hard and soft skills needed for employment in their chosen careers and or have all the resources needed to do succeed in a post-secondary institution. Students are paired with a Success Coach for individualize success planning and mentorship.
