Summary
Provides support to the Chief Legal Officer and entire Legal Department for administrative purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED require. 3-5 years of related experience and/or training are preferred. P&C Insurance experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Provides support to the Chief Legal Officer and entire Legal Department for administrative purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer telephones.
- Calendar Chief Legal Officer appointments.
- Maintain liability spreadsheets for Legal Department.
- Send any requested documents to Outside Counsel.
- Process all incoming correspondence from Outside Counsel offices and distribute to appropriate team members.
- Legal calendar which incorporates all mediations, depositions, due dates of CRNS and trials.
- Order all Legal department office supplies.
- Process all mediation and legal invoices in coordination with Executive Program Manager.
- Forward outside Counsel Correspondence to Chief Legal Officer for review.
- Expense reports for Chief Legal Officer.
- Assist Chief Legal Officer with form filings and other legal projects.
- Manage internal communications with department heads for legal needs.
- Coordinate content for training programs as needed.
- Conduct legal research projects as requested by departments.
- Participate in company legal strategy sessions to find solutions to team members issues.
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Facilitate through office programs proficiently once trained, including documenting the various systems.
