What You'll Do:

For the position, we're looking for an experienced Paralegal to assist and organize the legal department as it grows to allow it to scale to the needs of its clients, both internal and external. Across all roles, we look for future team members who will live our values of being BOLD (Bias to Action, One Team, Lead by Example, Dumpster Diving Data Mavens).

  • Manage and assist in the creation and completion of commercial contracts (including creating forms, editing, researching and managing signature process). Maintain and update contract forms and draft simple documents, amendments, etc.. Maintain a corporate repository of agreements and manage / administer contract management software.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Counsel, manage legal department operations and coordinate legal department events and calendar.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of corporate documents, board minutes, etc.
  • Litigation support as needed.

What You'll Bring:

We know your experience extends beyond what you have on paper. The following is a guideline of general experience we're looking for in this role:

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate legal department
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate law and litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - 105,000 USD per year + bonus.
