This part-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with city and municipal employees, focusing on labor law and collective bargaining.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have significant experience in labor and employment law, particularly in the context of municipal law and collective bargaining. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal issues affecting city or municipal employees, with the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes and provide strategic advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in matters related to labor and employment law, with a focus on municipal law and collective bargaining.
• Handle cases involving city or municipal employees, including negotiations, arbitrations, and litigation.
• Advise city officials on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policy documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws affecting municipal employees.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Florida Bar.
• Extensive experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on municipal law and collective bargaining.
• Proven track record of handling cases involving city or municipal employees.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Compensation: This is a part-time, remote position offering competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $72 per hour, based on experience.
