JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Applied Linguistics Department of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time lecturer appointments in the ESL/EAP Program. Part-time lecturers will teach undergraduate composition courses for international undergraduate students. An MA degree in a related field is required. The start date for these appointments is August 2024.
These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one section. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For a more detailed description of the department, please visit our website at http://aplng.la.psu.edu

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
