We are currently seeking a skilled Part-Time VMware Administrator to join our team and assist with VMware and VSAN administration activities.
Job Description:
As a Part-Time VMware Administrator, you will assist our customers with various administrative activities related to VMware, including VSAN. You will leverage your advanced skills in VMware and VSAN to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our clients' virtual environments. Experience with NetApp storage administration is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with the administration and management of VMware environments, including VSAN
Configure, monitor, and maintain VMware and VSAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Perform routine administrative tasks such as patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to VMware and VSAN environments
Collaborate with clients' IT teams to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Maintain detailed documentation of VMware and VSAN configurations, processes, and procedures
Required Skillsets:
Advanced knowledge of VMware administration
Advanced experience with VSAN configuration and management
Preferred Skillsets:
Experience with NetApp storage administration
Experience Required:
Proven experience in configuring and managing VMware environments
Demonstrated expertise in managing VSAN
Some experience with NetApp storage administration is preferred but not essential
