Mr. Hospitality is a fully integrated hospitality management group that conceptualizes, owns and operates restaurants and five-star nightlife destinations in Miami. We are currently seeking a Pastry Cook. The Pastry cook will know how to follow pastry recipes curated by the Pastry Chef. The Pastry team will be innovative and creative in their delivery, giving every guest an unforgettable experience.
The responsibilities will include:
Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs
Prepare a variety of baked goods
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
Ensure the baking section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
Assist the Pastry chef with developing new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Legally able to work in the US
Knowledge of how baking ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways
Time management skills to deliver orders on schedule and avoiding wasting food
Flexibility, since hours for a Pastry Chef may vary and include weekends, evenings and holidays
Have at least 2+ years working in a fast paced environment
