Under the guidance of an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential services to patients, providers, and caregivers. As a Patient Services Representative, you will interact directly with patients and their healthcare providers, facilitating enrollment activities, addressing program inquiries, and coordinating therapy access through healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls and address general program inquiries.
Assist in determining eligibility for support programs such as Copay, PAP, Medicaid, etc.
Coordinate with pharmacies for triage and order processing.
Manage follow-up activities including resolving missing information and prior authorizations.
Document and report adverse events as per guidelines.
Additional Duties
Investigate and resolve claim denials or underpayments promptly.
Utilize various communication channels (phone, fax, mail, online) to gather information effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving requests promptly and escalating issues when necessary.
Report trends or delays to program management promptly.
Ensure all communications meet quality standards and adhere to program policies.
Collaborate with patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Requirements
1+ years of Customer Service and/or high-volume call center experience.
6+ months of experience in the medical/healthcare/insurance industry.
High School Diploma.
