As a Patient Onboarding Specialist, you’ll need to bring an ownership and hard-work mentality, because your results will be critical to our team’s success. Your day to day will include 1) completing onboarding calls for prospective patients, 2) confirming onboarded patients are ready for their intake appointment, and 3) ensuring high utilization of intake appointments with our medical providers.

Who is Miga?
- Miga is a virtual heart health clinic.
- We prevent and manage obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes, using medications and intensive lifestyle interventions.
- Our clinical care is delivered over video visits and async chat by physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), registered dietitians, and health coaches.
- Care is augmented by a character-driven, gamified app, connected devices, and our own tech platform/EHR that enables scalable, efficient, and high-quality clinical services.

- Patient Onboarding is central to our purpose as work toward serving millions of patients.
- Continuing to grow our Patient Onboarding team by hiring a Patient Onboarding Specialist.
- Salary = $60,000 - $75,000
- Must be ready to jump in as a scrappy contributor, with the ability to quickly build rapport with patients.
- Jarrad and Dre (Co-Founders) are seasoned operators who’ve built and grown companies before.
Complete onboarding calls with prospective patients, provide support with registration tasks, and ensure a high utilization of medical provider intake appointments, while building rapport and enhancing patient satisfaction.
What will I do?
- Complete 25+ hours per week of onboarding calls with prospective patients to schedule their intake appointment.
- Convert >75% of prospective patients during onboarding calls.
- Provide 10+ hours per week of new patient onboarding support.
- Ensure >90% utilization of intake appointments with medical providers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed notes on calls and conversations.
We are searching for candidates with:
- A desire to make the world a better place by preventing unnecessary heart attacks and strokes.
- A dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven mentality to join our elite team in a role central to our vision of advancing heart health.
- 1-3 years of experience in a onboarding, sales, or support role within a consumer or healthcare company.
- The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly proficient with technology and eager to learn and adapt to various new platforms;
- Be a self-starter and problem solver who bring an ownership mentality to their work; and
- Thrive in a team setting, adaptable to the dynamic environment of a rapidly growing and evolving organization supported by a collaborative culture.
- Nice to have but not required:
- Experience interacting with patients.
- Flexibility to work evening hours.

- A 45-minute Zoom call with Kristen Gill on our Patient Onboarding team -- also manager for this role, to discuss your work history.

- Kristen for an onboarding conversation and role play.
- Our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jarrad Aguirre.
- Reference checks with former managers and colleagues.
