Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, including summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages.
  • Work with payroll software and systems to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll operations and implement best practices.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies with financial statements.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll information clearly.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
